Gambling - Best way to pay it off?

I am 21 and I recently started playing blackjack. It has been 3 months and now I owe $30,000. I have done the best thing ever, I banned myself from all the casinos in my state so that I don't go back there anymore. Instead of earning $30,000, I thought I would get a very good score on the GMAT which would pay off for my MBA school. Do you think this is the best punishment? I think it's beneficial either ways.
