What happens if u do horrible on an SAT?

i am an ok student... I get mostly Bs and a couple As. But I am horrible at testing. i'v been practicing for my PSAT, and so far it's really hard.... so what happens if u do horrible on ur Sat? will u not get into college? will it be harder to get into a good college? what are the consequenses?
