Why do PENDULUMS of SHORTER length travel FASTER?

uming both pendulums travel at the same angle at the same time, the longer pendulum has to cover a greater distance in order to meet, let's say 30 degree angle while the shorter one only has to cover a shorter distance from the starting angle to the 30 degree angle. Because of the shorter coverage, the shorter pendulum falls faster therefore picking up speed to travel.
