The fact that you posted this question lends itself to you must care on some level what people think of you. Why do you ume people hate you? Are you generally rude and stand-offish? You tend to get what you give. Smile and most people smile back and those who don't, don't because they are unhappy with themselves not you. Are you happy? I think that's the real question.
