How do I get my cobra to stay still?

My cobra likes a little piccolo music now and then, but, dangit, he won't stay still, always swaying back and forth, and after a while, it gets hypnotic, like he is telling me to do something. I don't want to walk like a chicken, or bark like a dog or something, so why is my cobra trying to hypnotize me? How can I get it to be still and stop swaying?
