Leo Woman Taurus Male?

I am in a long distance relationship with a taurus male. My birthday is August 4th 1976 and he is April 30 1979. It's been 4 months dating long distance, and he has told me that he loves me (first which threw me off) and gave me lots of wonderful attention. I have made plans to visit him soon but lately with the attention slowly dieing down I am getting doubts if he really likes me as much anymore. I get great talks with him when I play casual, but he gets quiet if I ask any thing about feelings. He says I am doing that overthinking thing again, lol. So out of curiousity any advice? I really enjoy his personality and would hate to ruin something great with my neediness for attention.
