Am I just not good enough?

Young people can be so selfish...it sounds like to me that you need to keep looking for a REAL FRIEND...don't sweat it ...it will come...remember those kind of kids...usually end up in prison, married with 6 kids by 6 different dad/moms...on welfare...and you will be somebody....trust me ....I am proof...I was you 26 years ago...
