Why is the truth about the 60's often not discussed?

Complete bollocks from start to finish. 60s activism didn't begin with the Vietnam War, but with the movement to end apartheid in the American South. Most of the overwhelming opposition to the Vietnam (not just students, but a majority of the country by the time Nixon ran on a promise to end the war) was every bit as patriotic as those who supported it. Blacks did not experience a decline in living standards in the late 60s, and were not better off living in an apartheid state than in a free and equal one.
