Why are men and women so negative towards relationships where I live?
Seriously folks, I can't understand why men and women both are so d*mn negative with respect to meeting new people, making new friends, and dating. The only plausible reason that i've been able to deduce is the fact that this city is inundated with no less than FIVE military bases and a whole boatload of evangelical fanatics. Since I am a man, I'll proceed to give you guys my view. Perhaps the reason that all the women that I see out in public here are stuck up and unfriendly is because they are married to some military guy and don't want to give out "I'm single" signals to single guys such as myself. Also, perhaps the religious fundy parents teach their daughters that it is "immoral" to date men I suppose? I do have a decent psychic perception and I'm telling you guys that I can sense a VERY STRONG negative energy amongst the people here whenever I go out to places and am among strangers. It isn't like that in other places that I have lived and/or visited. Take Asheville, North Carolina for instance, I get a positive vibe from those folks as well as from places in Kansas and Missouri that I have visited. There truly is something VERY negative and sinister about the energy amongst the people here in the Pikes Peak region that I don't experience among people in other cities. I just can't quite put my finger on why that may be the case though. My main point in saying all of this is the fact that these people's negativity prevents newcomers like myself from making friends, dating, and establishing long lasting relationships. I would move today, but I don't have the $3 that it is going to take to rent a truck and put a deposit down on an apartment in either Austin, TX or Asheville, North Carolina.
