How to best way to quickly thaw out a frozen tub of Ricotta cheese for a lasagna?

I am making a lasagna, but the Ricotta cheese I bought half price, I tossed into the freezer. Can I put it in the microwave or what? Please suggest ways to thaw it out quicker so I can finish making my lasagna.
