Has anyone ever had a Zebra Finch live longer than 14 and 1/2 years?

None of my zebra finches (or other species of finches) ever lived that long. I had one live up to six years old, which I considered an accomplishment, since five years is the average. Congratulations that you had a 14 1/2 year old zebra finch. You must have done plenty of things right to have him live that long of a life. That is very rare. You must be very greatful to have a zebra finch that lived that long. Methuselah was the perfect name for him.
